Volič expozičních režimů: Volič expozičních režimů poskytuje snadný přístup ke klíčovým nastavením, jako jsou manuální expoziční režimy (P/S/A/M), a je pro snadné ovládání fotoaparátu jednou rukou situován na horní straně přístroje.
Tlačítko zoomu se skokovým vrácením: Pokud fotografujete extrémně dlouhou ohniskovou vzdáleností objektivu a fotografovaný objekt se dočasně pohne mimo záběr, můžete jej snadno znovu zaměřit stisknutím tlačítka vedle ovladače zoomu, které skokově nastaví širokoúhlou ohniskovou vzdálenost.
Boční ovladač zoomu: Boční ovladač zoomu umožňuje ovládat zoom levou rukou, aby se zamezilo chvění fotoaparátu a uchovala vysoká stabilita obrazu. Výsledkem jsou ostré snímky a plynulé videosekvence za všech okolností.
Korekce zábleskové expozice: Korekce zábleskové expozice (v rozmezí −2 až +2 EV) umožňuje dosáhnout přirozeně působících snímků s vyváženou expozicí pozadí a objektu osvětleného zábleskem.
EXPEED C2: Rychlý a výkonný systém zpracování obrazu Nikon s okamžitou odezvou a vysokou citlivostí ISO zaručuje snímky s výjimečnou kvalitou obrazu.
